Make sure to eat a balanced and nutritious diet that includes: vegetables, fruits and lots of water. To have a healthy and strong hair make sure to consume a protein-rich diet. Also, make sure to exercise, sleep well and have a hobby or different ways to liberate stress.

  • Take care of your hair

Use good-quality shampoos and hair products. When shampooing, concentrate on your scalp and hair roots. When using a conditioner, concentrate on the ends of your hair. Also, regularly trim your hair.

  • Avoid over-styling your hair

Pulling your hair constantly and tightly into hair-styles like pony-tails and tight braids can damage your hair and cause hair-loss. Also, over-drying your hair with blow-dryers and heat instruments can dry out the scalp and damage hair follicles. Even rough combing or toweling when wet can pull more hair strands than needed and break your hair, as well.

  • Use hair oils and home-made masks

Use healthy oils like olive oil, almond or coconut oil before shampooing. Also, apply homemade masks based on eggs, avocado and other powerful sources of good nutrients for your hair. You can do this on a daily or weekly basis, and your hair will turn stronger, shinier and better-looking.
