Eat These Foods to Promote Healthy Hair!
Protein

Your hair is actually comprised of protein.  Consequently, getting enough protein in your diet is crucial! If your hair is dry, brittle, or weak, it could be a sign that you aren’t eating enough protein. If you are experiencing significant hair loss, this can be a sign of very low protein consumption. Good sources of protein include chicken, turkey, fish, dairy products, eggs and vegetarian sources such as legumes and nuts.

Iron is a mineral and is very important for healthy hair.  Too little iron can also cause hair loss.  Low iron, or anaemia, disrupts nutrient supply to the hair follicle.  Anaemia affects the hair growth cycle and may result in hair loss. Iron-rich foods include red meat, chicken, and fish.  Alternatively, if you’re a vegetarian, stick to lentils, spinach, broccoli, and kale.

Biotin

Biotin is a water-soluble B vitamin. If you don’t have enough biotin in your diet, you may have brittle hair and experience hair loss.  Foods rich in biotin include wholegrains, liver, egg yolk, soy flour and yeast.
